An Older Woman

By Tryphena Louise Williams (c) 2010

An older women, seeks to be free
Of all illusion, that others may see

The mirror of time, reflecting back at me
The inner thoughts, one's true identity

Look into the eyes, into heart of me
Beyond the outer shell, to know the real me

An image of time, smiles back at me
The outer image, reflecting one's reality

Within all worlds, one's love of life
Beyond all time, its worldly strife

One's loving acceptance, of all one sees
The giving to life, a golden opportunity

Loving, accepting, caring and kind
Knowing God's love, is not sealed in time.

(Note:
Don't count the lines upon each other's face
Just look into the eyes to see their love and grace
It's OK to be as old as we are
There are no limits to who we are)
