The Moon and Stars

By Tryphena Louise Williams (c) 2011

You've got to watch out, for the man in the moon
His enchanting light, the stars they swoon

The moon he dances, with the stars each night
The stars they twinkle, with glowing delight

The bossy grey clouds, they try to say
Come you lot, don’t misbehave

Mother Nature looks on, she's not amused
Father Time his laughter, he seems confused

Each month it seems, to be the same
As the moon appears, to play his games

The moon and stars, they love to play
Their awesome beauty, is here to stay
