Rain Drops

By Tryphena Louise Williams (c) 2011

I hear the rain. its gentle falling
A sign of change, its Autumn calling

The dark of day, clouds block the sun
Steamed up windows, the rain drops run

Puddles forming, turning dust to mud
The rain keeps falling, will it flood

The moistened soil, new seeds will grow
Some flowers to keep, the weeds must go

The day is passing, swiftly on by
The clouds are shifting, revealing blue sky

Life is a blessing, this is for sure
With lessons learnt, life opens its door
