My Memory of You

Copyright 2011 Tryphena Louise Williams

With each passing year I remember you
The love we shared was the life I knew

Twenty two years our marriage was fun
I knew when we met you were the one

We worked and played as life ticked by
Then came that day when we said goodbye

Each year at this time I'm think of you
And all the fun things that we use to do

My lover, my friend and my husband too
This heart I'm hanging in memory of you

(We never stop loving the ones we knew)
