My love he asked while smiling at me
When did you last write some poetry
I kind of looked around the room
Saying I may write this afternoon
Life's been stressing like a boat at sea
With the waves of karma swirling around me
A balance of loving calm works best
As one's love of life becomes our test
I'll promise to write more poetry very soon
After the broom of karma cleans each room
My life with love will then soon resume
In love I'm trusting where some assume
In the core of my love I'm planning to stay
While my life is busy changing in every way
