Down on the Farm

By Tryphena Louise Williams (c) 2010

Down on the farm, I love to be
I love the sights, and smells you see

Down on the farm, I feel so free
The air is fresh and nice to breathe

I love to sit, in peace and quiet
The evening stillness, a pure delight

With the morning, the chooks I hear
Their cackling sound, rings loud and clear

The sun it filters, through the trees
I bathe in a light, with warmth to please

I hear the rustling, of the leaves
The body caressed, by a soft gentle breeze

The farm is a place, I love to be
A way of life, that sure suits me
