Saying Good Bye

By Tryphena Louise Williams (c) 2010

Open your heart to spread
Your golden wings, of love

Flying the currents of life
Within all sounds, as life it sings

Love is the Master
One's mind, the slave

The emotions creating
Storms, in the waves

The body is bothered
By the ravages, of life

As it struggles to stay here
It puts up, such a fight

But time, is upon it
As night ever, draws near

The body, is struggling
Against the tide, of aging years

When time, is upon us
All must, come too bear

As the body, expires
With its last, breath of air

Yet knowing, and greeting
Lies just beyond, the door

As Soul leaves, one body
To pick up, one more

Good byes, can be so sad
But that's how, it must be

When the body is empty
SOUL, is set free

I hugged her, and loved her
My wee black cat, Sam

The mystery of life
God's mighty plan

It's good bye, my wee one
With your karma, now done

I'll see you soon, on the other side
