Man's Destiny

By Tryphena Louise Williams (c) 2010

Stormy winds a torrent blew, twisting branches, a pathway through

Mother Nature woken from her slumber, her voice was heard, its roar of thunder

Do not mock Mother Nature, her wrath is known, a destruction maker

Stormy nights of rain and thunder, changed the earth from down under

Rivers flooding everywhere, life surrendered to its fear

Mother Nature cut her path, rebirth, reform nothing will last

Ducking for cover, hiding away, when she calls, man will learn her way

Man he plundered from her chest, taking mockingly, with laughing jest

His foolish ways come home to roost, when time it comes, all hell lets loose

Man he takes so thoughtlessly, from Mother Nature's majestic beauty

No thought he gave, to all he took, to claim his own, no second look

Lessons come to all one day, which take and blunder, life this way

Beware the ways of mans abuse, his endless taking, and misuse

Times of testing, will come mans way, on silent wings, life will say

I trusted man with the love I gave, yet man continued, his abusive way

Man self created blundered mess, no worries, nor care, he soiled his nest

A measure given for love to see, if man could change, his destiny

To turn around and undo, to set it straight, is what man must do

To love all life, to give not take, man must learn from, his past mistakes

Life is love and love is life, man his lesson, to love and respect all life
