The Seeker

By Tryphena Louise Williams (c) 2010

The body slept, leaving Soul to explore
Distant lands, as never seen before

Reaching out, Soul caught a wave
The spiritual seeker, had to be brave

God's mountain stood, so high above
To climb the mountain, one needed love

An inner strength, for one to endure
The journey home a test, if the heart was pure

Illusion lay in wait, would the seeker see
Truth and wisdom,  loves hidden reality

The mask of life, revealed its face
The seeker realized, its loving grace

Each step the seeker took, along the way
Would test the seeker, if they would stray

For love it was, the measure of its test
It was left up to the seeker, to do one's best

At times the seeker, felt so alone
With no place left, to call its own

The seeker's heart, it cried out in pain
Its past now gone, nothing the same

The seeker's love, it burned so deep
With all this love, they could not sleep

Time came to pass, for the seeker to see
As Divine Love it beamed, back at thee

With this love, now such a part
The seeker realized, its loving heart

Back into the worlds, far below
The seeker realized, it must go

The Light and Sound, it could be heard
The seeker's love, expressed in word
