By Tryphena L Williams (c) 2010
A wind blew, waking one up for it to see
Will one ever settle, is this reality to be
With so many lands, so far away
One wondered if, the other would stay
The heart says go, the mind shouts no
Mixed messages, creating a confusing flow
Mother Nature, is ones greatest test
Is one willing, to leave its nest
The distance seems, too far to fly
What should one do, should one even try
When all seems lost, one feels despair
The heart it mourns, for what's not here
The mind it shouts, it's just not fair
These tests of life, of here or there
One seeks to know, yet hides away
Will this lifetime end, the same old way
One does not know, what it should do
Its feels too much, to follow through
The child within, it seems so small
The other so brave, should one call
One wonders about, loves compatibility
As it presents itself at times, so differently
Life one asks, please show the way
Is one to go, or should one stay
