The Ginger Bread Man

Copyright 2011 Tryphena Louise Williams

Once a upon a time there was a ginger bread man
He could be heard saying, I'll show you that I can

As cute as he looked with his golden brown tan
His ego his down fall, no matter how fast he ran

The moral of the story is to take care what you say
Your words may trap you at the end of the day

There's no sugar nor spice if your not playing fair
With ego as our master it will always bring despair
