The wise old banyan tree
It stood the test of time
The banyan tree, the longer it stood
The wisdom of ages, etched in its wood
Ever growing, its roots grew down
Deeper, and deeper, under the ground
The tree was wise, beyond all compare
A timeless beauty, as it stood there
Secrets of life held, within its branches
Wisdom known, as the seeker advances
The old banyan tree, it told a story or two
But its wisdom was only, known to a few
