Solitude

by Tryphena Louise Williams (c) 2010

The seeker sought, within the cave
One's solitude at times, it did crave

The seeker's love, for all it cared
At times it felt, waves of despair

A time to rest, a time to play
The seeker reflected, upon its day

Why was it that, it did seem
Was all this, but a dream

Within its heart, the seeker dwelled
A place of joy, where all love it swirled

The question asked, did one not see
Love was the test, as given to thee

Within the cave, a silence known
Thoughts are seeds, as each is sown

With no place left, to call its own
The seeker cried out, for its home

The test of love, as earned and given
The seeker asked, is all love forgiven

The answer known, within its heart
All lessons learnt, will come to pass

As daylight dawns, upon each day
All love as given, its choice to stay

Within the cave, of Light and Sound
Within its walls, all love abounds

One's love of one, One's love of two
A love as shown, love's gift to you
