Spring

New leaves appeared upon the trees

A humming sound of the honey bees

The flowers of spring what a delight
I love the stillness of a moonlit night
Daylight brings a melody of sounds

The wonder of life it has no bounds

In meadows the grasshoppers sing
Butterflies dance with golden wings

Birds are chirping to attract a mate
The rusty hinges of the garden gate

The bulbs of spring are in full bloom
A sweetness of scent it fills my room
