Springs Rush

Copyright © Tryphena Louise Williams

Twisting grasses with hollow reeds
The sudden tease of a spring breeze

Marshmallows clouds fluff and huff
Springs delight it's a colorful rush

Bare trees naked past winters worn
Now with bright green leaves adorn

Birds chirping their mates delight
Trees of shadows a wonderful sight

The sunlight’s playing hide and seek
A hush of silence who dares to speak

Meadows of green where lovers' play
Happy spring lambs they prance away

Life is a buzz with new plans ahead
Natures seeks nourishment to be fed

Spring's a time for lovers’ to enjoy
Lovers of heart are delightfully coy
