Sitting all alone, on an old rocking chair
Sat a brown tubby, wee teddy bear
He had soft curly fur, and big round eyes
And wore blue trousers, and a cute bow tie
People just seemed, to pass him by
Maybe his price tag, was a tad too high
So teddy there he sat, feeling so alone
Waiting for someone, to take him home
Then one day, this girl came on by
She saw the teddy bear, and began to cry
The teddy bear he wondered, what he'd done
But the girl’s tears were, because he was the one
She picked him up, to hold him tight
This bear she said, he feels so right
With coins of gold, the debt now paid
Teddy bear at last, had a home to stay
For stories told, and there were a few
Of teddy’s adventures, he had one or two
The teddy bear was happy; he’d found his home
The girl’s love of him, now he'd never be alone
You silly ole bear, I will always care
I love you so, you’re my teddy bear
