Sometimes life may appear to fly way too fast
Deep down we really want every moment to last

As life brings to our door even more tests to endure

Good God is that really you?

Do you know how many lifetimes, I've been asking after you?
I looked everywhere but got lost and didn't know what to do

Then I found this spiritual teaching, well actually it found me
And I learnt very quickly that you've always been a part of me

God can you imagine, how that made me feel inside?
To be honest I was so happy knowing love was my guide

With this inner knowing I learnt a thing or two
The most important lesson, was how to sing the HU

So if others are feeling lost I can teach them now
How to love each other and live without the Kal

The teachings of my heart, Eckankar is the name
I learnt a lot of lessons, now I'll never be the same

The twists and the turns the play of the mind
Some words expressed may at times seem unkind

Remember the love that made you once smile
It's takes only a moment every once in awhile

Your heart reopens for your memories to see
How happy you were when you were with me

Then the door closes as our memories fade
We soon forget all the loving games we played

Some memories take us to places we've been
The time we once spent seems all but a dream

Love comes along and whispers again in your ear
This time are you ready to love without fear

The heart starts pumping with its mighty flow
You can feel it inside that you're ready to go

Love is a feeling that keeps burning deep inside
When love is ready it no longer needs to hide
