It's rough and tumble, give my face a pat
Moritz my wee kitten is such a playful cat
I'm trying to sleep and it's nearly midnight
Moritz doesn't want to stop playing tonight
I try to hide my face under the bed covers
But hiding encourages him I soon discover
My body it seems just needs to be caught
All my effects to settle him come to nought

With a leap he at last decides to run away
I’ll get some sleep while he enjoys his play
I really do love my playful wee kitten Moritz
Even with his antics, I still love him too bits
