Outside my window I can see
In my garden stands an old gum tree
I love this tree with all my heart
Its trunk is white with peeling bark
The old tree is a symbol to me
Of what can grow from a single seed
I take my thoughts within who I am
To ponder life and God's mighty plan
The old gum tree stood tall and strong
Weathering each storm that came along
The old gum tree could tell a story or two
As I stood there admiring God’s view
