The sun's morning glow upon my face
Birds happily chirping, life its gentle pace
Dew drops sparkling, like crystal lights
Autumn's splendour is my respite
Distant hills of rich grassy green
Trees standing tall to complete the scene
Time seems stilled its more restful now
The country sounds its mowing of cows
I love my life it's such a gift to me
Mother Nature's wonder I'm so blessed to see
With things to do I'm homeward bound
The secret to life is the love I've found
