The stars shone brightly
Lighting the heavens above
The moon held softly as in love
The air so crisp within the night
To breathe its essence was sheer delight
As I wonder gazing into the sky above
My feelings drawn with tender love
Dreams of stars so high yet clear
Makes all my dreams seem so near
A nightly chill touches deep inside
Uncovering a love I’ve tried to hide
Now all seems so clear to me
To live my life and let it be
